Train Cambridge - Peterborough
Oakham Brewery Tap for a couple of hours
Train to Edinburgh (£28 advanced) for a few pints of Orkney Dark Island
Thursday...
Flight Edinburgh - Malta (£96 Ryanair)

Friday...
Flight Malta - Leeds (£70 Ryanair)
Leeds Brewery tap for a couple of hours
Train Leeds - Peterborough (£19 advanced)
Train Peterborough - Cambridge

At a perfectly acceptable price of £213 + a return ticket Cambridge - Peterborough. Job done!

Gavros found a Amsterdam to Malta Wednesday night for 155euros just got to give yourself plenty of time when booking connection on point to point airlines.

The best route is to fly direct from Gatwick

The cheapest route I have found is to fly into Sophia and get a flight from there

Any savings on flights may be eaten up by airport bars and airport restaurants tho

I sincerely hope you give things another go at some point one iron. Your efforts are much appreciated. It's always going to be a bugger at this time of year; people on hols or having to pay for hols, high prices from charter companies etc. Add to that the fact that there is no time to get things sorted with the games coming as fast as they do. People have only just got to the stage of getting confirmation that they have a ticket and there's only 6 days to the game!!

I know it would have made no difference to it running but you would have got a booking from me now that I can see that my ticket application has been successful. I now have a very protracted journey to Malta instead!!

its been said that a fingers been pointed at the hornchurch coach over the prices for the plane trips, we had no input in prices at all, we do coaches not planes,our partners do their best but summer prices anywear and everywear are steep,when you lay a lot of money and time out you need to make a bit to cover,i worked for three days solid getting info out and collecting details ,i did that free of charge,never made a penny.our partners try to give you a good service, but if you dont book or hang on prices go up.i would not risk my money,would you.

Each person has two seats, on these trips, so plenty of room.clean loos with air freshener. 27 people per coach,on overnight trips,more people on the short trips,say holland.
